The drive went smoothly, it was long but doable in the amount of time I had. And I even let myself stop to photograph some of the beautiful fall colors along the way. (The aspens in Colorado were changing as I left, it made for some stunning views as I drove.)
For now I am staying with some friends in Ashland while I work on finding an apartment and go to classes. So far all of my classes are great, it's going to be a challenging quarter... but I think I'm ready for that. My last few terms at school have been a little bit too easy.
Here's what I'm taking:
Environmental Studies 1 (this is an introductory ES class that I need to graduate)
General Chemistry + Lab
Geomorphology
Crystals and Minerals + Lab
Alright, I'm off to do some reading for classes. They certainly don't give you any down time with terms that are only 8 weeks long.
